VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR 2009 SEASON!!
by posted 10/20/2008

PBLAX is always looking for folks with the time and energy to help ensure the success of our community based program. As families come and go, work and home changes impact availablility, and players age out of the league, there is a constant need to find new energy and interest in our parent volunteers.

If you can offer us the commitment to assist in any of the following ways, please feel free to contact me at
to discuss these further. In some cases, we are hoping to find folks to fill (and grow) these roles over a period of a few years.

Assistant Treasurer

Uniform Coordinator

Referee Scheduler

Master Scheduler

PBLAX Social Director

Equipment Manager

How Can I Help My Son Practice Lacrosse?

HOW CAN I HELP MY SON PRACTICE LACROSSE?

We are glad you asked!!!

The boys have had some fun over the past three weeks and are learning new skills.  At home, you can help reinforce what your son is learning by going through some drills.  These drills cover very basic lacrosse skills which need to be eventually mastered by every Lacrosse player.  If you don't play Lacrosse...it doesn't matter.  These drills can be conducted with a baseball mitt!  The drills are posted on our website under the tab “ How can I help my son practice lacrosse”

We hope you try them!

Mission Statement

Princeton Boys Lacrosse, PBLAX is a new non-profit organization formed with the vision of being the Princeton Community’s lacrosse program for boys.  Our responsibility is to the game and to the community.  The organization was established to develop the skills and talent of the young boys and their love for the game.  We will prepare them for their next level of play, from grade school to high school in a fun and active environment.  PBLAX leadership has experience in starting lacrosse programs, leading youth sports programs, coaching lacrosse and playing lacrosse.

  •  Our Coaches pledge to know and care for each child in the program, teach the fundamentals and values of the game and most importantly see that everyone has fun.

  •  Our Players pledge to care for every child in the program, and understand the importance of practice, patience and teamwork as they learn to play this wonderful game.

If at any time you feel we are not following these guidelines please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you and best of wishes for the 2008 season.
